U.S Government,
Incoming rant. Thankfully after months of fighting and struggle, we have shut down SOPA and PIPA (for the time being). However the U.S (Useless shit) government has introduced two new bills. ACTA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmQN93NqqDM&list=LLDU6AlHwdt_Prtzsn2seXHA&index=1&feature=plpp_video_ and Protect Children from Online Pornographers Act. (http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/08/the-legislation-that-could-kill-internet-privacy-for-good/242853/)
Apparently our Government strive on taking away our freedom. Clearly, this is bull poopy. I usually sit back and don’t take a stand, however; I am not sitting back this time. I’m not scared about getting in trouble. At this point, this is a war between the public and government. NO ONE owns the internet. I will not allow our government take control over my freedom of speech and my freedom.
Think about it. Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested many times for standing up. The sit-ins in colleges for equal rights usually ended in violence, struggle, or trouble. However, all of their actions lead to CHANGE. This change is required by all of us. Don’t sit back and watch the Government control your freedom. I want to tell my children that I was a part of the revolution that helped keep the internet free.
